Great start to August!

A fantastic start to August for us with a nice priced winner at Windsor.

We backed Boogie Diva, 1pt e/w @ 12/1 - best odds guaranteed paid 16/1.
There was a good word for this one a couple of times last season and she didn't get the best of runs. Since then she has changed stables and was said to be working very nicely.
We had her lined up as an account bet last week but she was withdrawn when the rain came.
She had been off the track for over 300 days but we knew she was fit enough to do herself justice tonight.

Before racing she drifted right out on Betfair and we had a few quid extra at 32 - 31/1. Nice!

She missed the break slightly and was settled near the rear of the pack.
Brought to the outside approaching 2 furlongs to run she was always travelling well and hit the front with around a furlong to go.
Despite drifting slightly inside the final furlong she always had matters in control and won by a comfortable length.

The race was also a Bet365 4/1+ offer race, meaning we have a free bet to the same value in their next offer race, the 6.55 at Southwell tomorrow night.

After a tricky couple of months where we have only made slight profits lets hope this is a real change in our luck for the better.

Incidentally we were close to a bet on another horse today which was a very unlucky loser but not really picked up by the media after the race.
We won't name the horse on here as it may well be an account bet next time out.

There is a good chance of an account bet tomorrow but not certain at this stage.
