Excellent-erator

One small account bet for us today, one of our favourites.
Excellerator, 1pt win @ 12/1 did us a massive favour when landing a huge touch for us first time out. We put her up at 13/2 and she was backed right in to 11/8 or so before winning on the bit.
That day we had 5 members emailing to say they their account had been closed by the same bookmaker!

She was kept in training this year to try to earn some black type and connections would love to get another win into her before she retires to breed.
Today they were going to try different plans and drop her in behind and come with  late run.

Indeed, she was dropped in behind the pack and in last place for much of the race.
She was brought through on the inside with a good late run inside the final furlong but was never going to catch the winner, Arabian Mirage.
She finished 3rd, beaten a short head for second. A small profit on the day for us.
The winner landed a nice touch, being backed from 11/2 into 7/2 so we kind of ran into one there.

Great racing tomorrow with the start of York's Ebor meeting.

There is a lot of rain forecast but there should be one account bet, price depending.

We have one lined up for Wednesday evening, all being well.
