One small account bet for members today, Night Lily 2pt win @ 4/1
Thought to be set to run a big race for a drop in both class and grade she was well backed into 5/2 by the off.
She ran a good race and may well have been beaten by a good ride on the winner rather than anything else.
She was never travelling fantastically but stayed on down the middle of the track, never looking likely to catch the winner who was brought down the stands side rail. She finished second, beaten a length and a half.

Elsewhere, we were wise to stay away from Newmarket where the early results in particular were carnage for punters.

We have a probable bet lined up for tomorrow and one already for Saturday.
