Better!

A bit more like it on Friday with one winner from two bets.

We started off with Dffar, 2pt win @ 4/1.
There was a very good word for this runner who was said to have improved massively for his first run, as many in the yard do.
Our main concern was that there was only 3 runners and there may be a false pace so we staked sensibly.
We shouldn't have worried though as, even though there wasn't a great pace and Dffar was keen early on, he ran out an easy winner having been backed into 2/1.
He will improve again for the run and may well go in again soon.

We have three more runners lined up from this yard over the next two weeks.

We also backed, George Adamson, 3pt win @ 5/2.
A good winner for us when an account bet a few weeks ago, connections thought he was still well handicapped.
Alan's runners are still running pretty well and the money was down on this one as well. Backed into 13/8 at the off he could only manage 3rd though.
He travelled well but was never going as well as the winner, That'll Do Nicely, who still looks well in.
He was caught close home for second but was never going to beat the winner so no complaints.

A better day and 5 points profit on the day.

There should be a bet today but thats not certain just yet.
