Two account bets today but no luck.
First up we had Crown Prosecutor, 3pt win @ 2/1.
A horse that has won two from two so far, including a course win which is often useful at Goodwood. It is thought he might go to the very top class.
He was well backed down to 6/4 at the off but lost all chance when very badly hampered on the turn, with around half a mile to go.
He recovered well but had run his race by the time be joined the leaders with a furlong to go and faded from there.
Even without the trouble in running though he probably wouldn't have beaten the very impressive winner, King Torus.
We also backed Bideeya, 2pt e/w @ 4/1 up at Redcar.
This one went wrong last time when fancied and connections were hoping she could make up for that today.
Again though she was fairly disappointing and could only manage 4th.
More great racing again tomorrow but as usual its very competative.
There should be at least one account bet though.

After a great day on Saturday with two winners from two bets we failed to make it a third on the trot today.
There was a good word all morning for Tijori, 2pt win @ 7/4.
Lots of support for this one saw the price collapse into odds on before drifting back out just before the off to 11/8 due to substantial support for the eventual winner, Majestic Dream - who was backed into 2/1 from 3/1.
The race itself was quite a messy affair and Tijori didn't get a great run when trying for a gap with around 300 yards to go and wasn't overly pushed from there when it was apparent he couldn't win.
To be fair he was never going to beat the winner who may go on to better things, especially when upped in trip.
Fortunately we only staked 2 points as we didn't know too much about the opposition.
Quite often we can rule a few runners out for one reason or another which obviously turns the tables very much in our favour. Other than a good word for Tijori today there were no negative words for anything in the race, hence the small stakes.
Glorious Goodwood starts tomorrow and there will amost certainly be at least one account bet.
We are also waiting for a big bet at the Galway Festival later in the week but that one is ground dependant.
So, some good racing to come this week and we are expecting a very good week.
Lets hope it all goes to plan!

Much more like it today with 2 winners from 2 account bets and over 20 points profit.
First up we had a very confident account bet that we sent out to members at 6pm on Friday.
Miss Zooter, 5pt win @ 7/2 was a very confident pick after an extremely unlucky run just over two weeks ago when an account bet.
We blogged on the 7th July about how unlucky this horse was in running last time out when finishing 7th and we word was that she had improved further since then.
Always travelly well she went on to win the race quite comfortably. The result wasn't in doubt from 2 furlongs out as she was already trading 1.1 on Betfair at that time.
She will improve further for this win and if she makes another appearance this season is one to keep on the right side of.
Our second bet of the day was Common Touch, 3pt win @ 2/1.
One of the nicest two year olds in the yard we flagged this up as the yards best chance of a winner today.
When he missed the break and stumbled immediately after the gates opened we feared the it wasn't to be and he drifted markedly in running.
However, he soon picked up the idea of the game and showed great resolution to wear down Squires Gate inside the final furlong.
This was a fantastic performance for two reasons.
Firstly, the missed break and early trouble in running makes him value for much further than the half length winning margin.
Secondly, the runner up, Squires Gate is a very nice horse in his own right and was a strong account bet for us first time out. He was quietly fancied this morning after being given some time off after his last race.
Fortunately the word for Common Touch was much stronger and we made the right call.
Some fairly decent racing tomorrow and there is every chance there will be an account bet.
Glorious Goodwood starts on Tuesday and there is a lot to look forward to there.

Two account bets yesterday, the first one possibly signalling a change of luck for the better.
We backed, Cathedral Spires, 4pt win @ 15/8.
We had been waiting for this runner for a while and it was very frustrating to watch the price tumble while we were waiting for the bookies to price the race up.
We had our email typed up and ready to go at just after 7am but had to wait until just after 9am when the first markets opened to send it. He was closer to 7/2 at 7am on Betfair, having been matched at 10 overnight (reduced to 9.13 after the rule 4)
We have toyed with the idea of advising Betfair prices so we can send some bets out earlier but the majority of members didn't favour that idea as the prices can be too volatile and not everyone can get on.
Anyway, we took the 15/8 and he continued to be well backed into evens at the off.
He led, pretty much from the start but looked set to be beaten as he was headed inside the final furlong. He battled back bravely to get back up on the line though for what looked at first watch a good performance.
On watching the race again though the second, Ice Trooper, wasn't given the strongest of rides so perhaps we were lucky with that one.
A winner is a winner though and after a very unlucky month or two its nice to get one going our way.
We also backed King Of Eden, 4pt win @ 9/4.
This one continues to improve and it is thought he may make into a group race performer in time.
He ran a pretty good race, despite being niggled along halfway through the race and looked set to win with a furlong to go. The winner came with a decent run though and we could only manage 3rd.
He possibly wasn't running on the fastest part of the track but connections are also aware that he has had a lot of racing in the last couple of months and a short rest may be in order.
We sent out one early account bet for today which has already been well backed as expected.
There should be at least one more account bet to come before 12.30.
Glorious Goodwood starts on Tuesday, on of our favourite meetings of the year.
We have a few bets lined up already and are hoping for a very profitable end to the month.
