Nothing doing today with no account bets.
We had info that two horses were fancied today but unfortunately they were both in the same race.
Alan's yard fancied Nuts N Bolts and J Howard Johnsons yard fancied theirs, Jago River.
We put Nuts N Bolts up as a free bet. He drifted to 6/1 while Jago River was well supported into 2/1 favourite.
Jago travelled well and looked the likely winner 3 furlongs out but Nuts N Bolts stayed on well to get up inside the last furlong. Tiger Maguire ran a fine race to split the pair and is one to keep an eye on as the winner and third were well fancied.
Tomorrow at Wolverhampton looks interesting and we are looking at one account bet, minimum, although that will depend on the price.
The runner in question is already shorter than we expected though which is unfortunate.
The end of the week looks as though it could be quite busy with the flat season in the UK starting on Saturday.

Racing was very much back to normality today after a whirlwind four days.
We had just one account bet and it landed a huge gamble. Tranquil Tiger, 3pt win @ 5/2 was available at 10/3 very early on and was backed right into 11/8 before winning in some style.
We knew Tranquil Tiger had been working very well with Twice Over and the money would be down. It may have even gone off odds on had it not been for the sustained support for Stotsford who was backed from 7/1 into 9/2.
The result was never in much doubt although he did idle slightly in front.
We are now just over 32 points in profit for March.
Elsewhere there was very little to report.
We didn't even put anything up on Twitter as a free bet, which is rare for a Saturday.
The flat season is just a week away now and and we have lots to look forward to. We are hoping for another very good season and already have a list of very nice prospects for April and May.
Nothing in the pipeline yet for tomorrow or Monday but we will be waiting on a few calls so there may well be a bet.
We have a couple of strong bets lined up for the later in the week though, all being well.

Well, for many this Cheltenham meeting will go down as a bloodbath for many punters who have lost 4-0 to the bookies. Thats with three impossible races yet to be run!
We had one account bet today, Tell Massini 2pt e/w @ 9/2.
There was a very big word for this runner today and reading some of the other blogs it seems he was tipped up in many places.
He travelled very well, looking like the winner 4 out and traded as low as 7/4 in running. Unfortunately from there he appeared to go lame and was pulled up before the last.
Elsewhere we had an ante post bet on Kauto Star and we all know what happened there. Fair play to the winner though, very impressive.
Overall we managed to finish slightly in profit on our day of the race bets, thanks to Peddlers cross winning at 7/1 and could have been luckier with two each way bets finishing 4th.
Three races left to run but we will be leaving early to avoid the traffic. The ground has changed with all the rain so anything could happen from now!
Staying over in South Wales tonight and then back to base early tomorrow morning.
There will probably be an account bet tomorrow but not certainly.
The flat season is just around the corner now and we have lots lined up already. Aintree is only three weeks away as well!

Close, but no cigar today.
On the day we had Deep Purple, 1pt e/w @ 22/1 and he ran a massive race but could only manage 4th.
The ground was perfect and he was supported right down to 11/1 at the off. He travelled really well out in front and was going better than the winner with just over half a mile to go.
Unfortunately he made a mistake 4 out and was crowded in the final bend losing some momentum.
Not too much damage done with only a point each way but a place at least would have been nice.
We also had an ante post runner, Karabak, 2pt e/w @ 10/1 and suffered the same fate!
He never had a chance with the winner or the second but he flew home up the hill and was just beaten for 3rd place by around a neck.
An each way bet finishing 4th when they pay 3 places is always annoying, especially when it happens twice in one day!
The last 2 races of today at Cheltenham don't interest us from a betting point of view.
There is a good word for Raptor in the 6.45 at Wolverhampton and if there were 8 runners or more we would be playing but as its down to 7, no bet.
On a seperate note, it seems a few members didn't receive todays email - mainly Hotmail accounts.
Don't forget that we can also send account bets by SMS at no charge just in case the email fails for some reason.
At least one account bet tomorrow along with our ante post bet on Kauto Star to run.

A much better day today at a more sudbued Cheltenham than yesterday.
We had two account bets today.
1.55 Marius Maximus, 2pt win @ 9/2 who was very disappointing. This horse works well at home but just fails to put it in on the track. He was backed right into 10/3 and traded 5/4 after just two furlongs but pretty much faded from then on!
He is much better than this and it will click at some point but we won't be on until he has won at least one race.
2.05 Peddlers Cross, 2pt e/w at 7/1 was a nice, welcome winner.
He always travelled well and was surprisingly easy to back in running - available at 6/1 with 5 furlongs to run, going easily - and turned out a decent winner.
Our message was that he was yet to be stretched and improving all the time and it was spot on.
Elsewhere, we thought we had landed a nice ante post bet in the RSA with Long Run (2pt e/w @ 6/1)
He looked to be going best 3 out but we can't argue with the winner , Weapons Amnesty, who was impressive. Long Run held on for 3rd to get the each way money though.
Most impressive performance of the day by far was in the last though.
Cue Card looked an absolute class act winning with ease even though he was pretty keen early. There was some trouble in the race but the winner was absolute different class.
We were close to an account bet on Tavern Times and he was possibly unlucky to finish only 4th.
Cue Card must be favourite for the Supreme Novices next year surely?
All in all, a nice profit on the day.
We are now just over 30 points in profit for March.
We have at least one account bet tomorrow.

Well, day one turned out to be a tricky one for us.
First up was one of our ante post bets from December, Dunguib.
There will be many blaming the jockey and maybe he should have kept him closer to the pace but he wanted to have a clear sight of the hurdles. A good race to watch and we don't think Dunguib would have won with a different jockey on board. We will never know.
We also had a small account bet in the 1.30, Oscar Whiskey, 1pt e/w @ 9/1 with Sky Bet who were paying first 4 home.
Fortunately they were, as we managed to finish 4th with a slight profit on the race.
In the Arkle we were on Captain Cee Bee, 3pt win @ 3/1. We knew he would be well backed and he was but unfortunately he left his jumping boots at home and wasn't fluent throughout.
Our final account bet of the day lost all chance with a bad jump as well. Garde Champetre, 3pt win @ 9/4. He travelled well but a bad mistake about 5 out cost him all chance and although he rallied he was never going to make up for that bad mistake.
Elsewhere, Binocular was an impressive winner of the big one. Hope those that layed this at 1000 managed to negate losses...
Khyber Kim ran a great race to finish second and lost nothing in defeat.
There will be an account bet tomorrow but possibly only one. There may be a bet away from Cheltenham as well.
We also have two ante post bets running tomorrow and are hoping for a better day!
We are currently just over 11 points in profit for March and almost 50 points in profit for 2010.

Not surprisingly there were no account bets today with the poor racing on show with Cheltenham just one day away!
We are in Cheltenham already and the atmosphere is amazing. Many people really looking forward to the start tomorrow and a few that will be nursing hangovers by the looks of things!
We caught most of the racing today and were very impressed by Alan's Priceless Art. He is by no means his best bumper horse and he has something special that will be aimed at the Aintree bumper in April.
Obviously lots to look forward to over the next four days, in particular. We are still hoping for a plot away from the main action as well on Wednesday.
Bets will be sent out around 12 noon for the next 4 days and we will also be covering the majority of races in a 'bits and bobs' section that will mention horses not quite strong enough for an account bet.
